Signature 100% Whole-Wheat Sourdough


One of our most popular loaves, our 100% whole-wheat sourdough is made from just three ingredients: natural yeast, water, and a mix of organic whole wheat flours. And it’s vegan to boot! Each loaf is baked out to around 1 kg.


Like wine, bread also can embody “terroir,” a sense of both time and place that is driven by the land, climate, and farming practices. That is why we source single-identity wheat that can be traced to both a particular “vintage” and farm. We then apply a supremely light touch to allow the wheat’s flavors to shine. The result is a sourdough loaf like none that you have ever tasted before, with notes of molasses, cinammon, and hazelnut.
