Our whole wheat Homefront Hearth Sourdough Loaf is our take on an oat porridge sourdough, except instead of cooking the oats, we soak them overnight to give the loaf a soft yet toothy crumb.

We soak steel cut oats and cracked wheat overnight and then top the loaves with rolled oats for that toasted oat umami. The result is a deliciously sweet and tender crumb with a bit of crunch in each bite and a classically chewy crust.
